This lidded segmented sphere contains over 300 individual pieces of wood. Figured maple, walnut, cherry, and redheart make up the sphere’s 19 layers. The sphere is permanently affixed to a morado base for stability and ease of display. The knob is morado, embellished with a Swarovski crystal.

The bowl is protected by numerous coats of durable polyurethane finish, hand-sanded between coats. The morado base and knob are finished with Danish oil.

Dimensions:  7-3/8″ diameter,  10″overall height from base to top of knob, and 2-3/8″ lid opening.

Use and Care Instructions:  Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth. Do not immerse in water or use it to hold anything that retains moisture.

Special Note: We here at Ted’s Woodshop are occasionally asked to create custom urns for the cremated remains of loved ones. This lidded sphere has a capacity of approximately 150 cubic inches, which puts it in the size range of a medium urn.
