"Rainbow Road" Dizzy Bowl
This bowl is of the type known as a Dizzy Bowl. Dizzy Bowls are segmented bowls that are constructed from a series of rings, each containing an increasing number of pieces of wood. Careful positioning of each ring produces the pattern that appears in the finished bowl.
This bowl brought to mind a winding road with rainbow arcs on either side.
The wall thickness of this bowl is about 1/4″.

The woods used in this bowl are cherry, maple, walnut, bloodwood, dyed veneer, and SpectraPly, which is a hardwood laminate formed from layers of pigmented birch veneer.
Dimensions: 13-1/2″ at the top, 6″ tall, and 3-1/4″ at the base.
This bowl is finished with multiple coats of a durable polyurethane, buffed and waxed to a high gloss finish.
Use and care instructions: Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth. Do not use this bowl to hold anything that retains moisture.

Exquisite bowl! I love it! The combination of woods of different colors and patterns makes this bowl a standing piece. Great job, Ted Heuer!
