This Vertex mechanical pencil turned from lacewood is handy in the shop.  Of course Ted uses one.  It is perfect for drafting, sketching, marking lumber, or writing.  It is also a useful item in the garage, greenhouse, potting shed, on the boat or in the RV — anywhere a sturdy pencil with a heavy-duty lead might come in handy.

The end and nib caps of the pencil have a faceted, hexagonal design that keeps the pencil from rolling off onto the floor.  An eraser and lead sharpener are located inside the end cap.  A smooth click mechanism makes it easy to advance the lead.

The pencil is packaged in a plastic storage tube and comes with a set of five extra 2B 2mm leads.
