This bowl is a one-of-a-kind Dizzy Bowl with a segmented rim. It is constructed of 17 rings laminated together starting at the next-to-the-top ring. Careful positioning of each ring produces the pattern that appears in the finished bowl. The segmented rim, made of figured maple and walnut, was added last. The five-layer base was turned and added separately.

The wall thickness of this bowl is about ¼ of an inch.

The woods used in this bowl are figured maple, walnut, bubinga, and dyed veneer.

Dimensions:  11-1/4″ wide at the top, 6-3/4″ tall, and 3-5/8″ at the base.

This bowl is finished with multiple coats of a durable polyurethane, buffed and waxed to a high gloss finish.

Use and care instructions: Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth.  Do not use this bowl to hold anything that retains moisture.
