This bowl is a one-of-a-kind Dizzy Bowl with a segmented rim. It is constructed of  rings laminated together starting at the next-to-the-top ring. Careful positioning of each ring produces the pattern that appears in the finished bowl. The segmented rim, made of orange agate with thin accent strips of dyed veneer, was added last. The base was turned and added separately.

The woods used in this bowl are orange agate, maple, purpleheart, walnut, cherry, East Indian rosewood, and dyed veneer. The wall thickness of this bowl is about ¼ of an inch.

Dimensions: 13-1/4″ wide at the top, 7-5/8″ tall, and 3-1/4″ at the base.

This bowl is finished with multiple coats of Danish oil finish, buffed to a satin sheen.

Use and care instructions: Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth.  Do not use this bowl to hold anything that retains moisture.
