The handle for this coffee scoop is laminated from thin strips of seven different woods — cherry, walnut, maple, bloodwood, dyed veneer, lacewood, and purpleheart.  The scoop is made of polished stainless steel with a titanium nitride plating.  This is the same durable finish that is often used on drill bits.  Unlike brass, the plating will not tarnish.

With a capacity of 1 Tablespoon, this scoop is perfect both for ground coffee and loose tea.  It also makes a dandy measuring scoop for baking powder (for muffins to go with your morning coffee).

The scoop handle is finished with multiple coats of a durable polyurethane finish.

Use and Care Instructions:  Do not put the scoop in the dishwasher or allow it to soak in a sink.  Hand wash. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
