$120.00
Protect your table or countertop from hot dishes with this rockfish trivet, crafted from zebrawood with maple and ebony eyes . Patterned after the copper rockfish commonly found in Alaska, the trivet has eyes on both sides.
In a meticulous and time-consuming process, 68 grooves are individually cut in the ¼” thick interlocking pieces that form the body of the fish. Ted uses a bandsaw and drum sander to shape the head and tail sections, followed by hand finish work.
The trivet is protected with multiple coats of a durable penetrating oil finish.
Dimensions: 12-3/8″ long, 6-1/4 wide, 7/8″ deep.
Use and Care Instructions: Crafted to last a lifetime, the trivet can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and dried with a soft towel. Do not put in dishwasher or immerse in water.
