This razor is made from a very nice piece of birdseye maple, bloodwood, and dyed veneer.  It has a Parker head, a high-quality head made in India.  The head unscrews for blade replacement. The handle is finished with many coats of a durable wipe-on polyurethane which was wet sanded between coats.  The handle was laminated with a water-proof polyurethane glue.
