- Woods Used:
- Maple, Walnut, Tigerwood
- 10″ tall, 2-3/4″ wide at base
This is a 10″ premium pepper mill with an unusual construction. Ted cut and assembled pieces of maple, walnut, and tigerwood into a series of rings. The rings, stacked and precisely arranged on top of each other, became the stock from which the lower section of the mill was turned. The top is turned from a solid piece of highly figured walnut.
The mill is finished with multiple coats of gloss polyurethane, hand-sanded between coats. This produces a mirror-like finish, one that is both attractive and durable.
The premium-grade grinding mechanism is designed to last a lifetime but can be replaced if ever needed.
To fill the pepper mill, unscrew the top and separate the upper and lower sections. To adjust the coarseness of the grind, turn the top screw.
Use and Care Instructions: Fingerprints and smudges can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft towel. Do not immerse the mill in water, and please keep it away from sources of high heat.
