- Woods Used:
- Figured Maple, Walnut, Maple Veneer
- 12″ tall, 2-3/4″ wide at base
This premium 12″ pepper mill is turned from figured maple, walnut, and maple veneer. The top is turned from a solid piece of highly figured maple. Ted utilized stave construction to cut and laminate thin strips of wood into a layered blank for turning on his wood lathe.
The mill is finished with multiple coats of gloss polyurethane, hand-sanded between coats. This produces a mirror-like finish, one that is both attractive and durable.
The premium-grade grinding mechanism is designed to last a lifetime but can be replaced if ever needed.
To fill the pepper mill, unscrew the top and separate the upper and lower sections. To adjust the coarseness of the grind, turn the top screw.
Use and Care Instructions: Fingerprints and smudges can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft towel. Do not immerse the mill in water, and please keep it away from sources of high heat.
